当ブログの究極の目標は、英文記事の超速読と多読です。
当ブログの記事では、基本的に英文を頭から英語の順番でパラグラフ（数個の単語の集まり）単位で読み進めていきます。
以下に紹介するリーディングテクニックは、本書では【パラグラグリーディング】と呼んでいます。日本語で表現すると【超速読】になります。
ポイントは、「速読であるが、精読である」ことです。速読というと、比較的重要ではない一部を省いて読むというイメージがありますが、当ブログの【パラグラグリーディング】では、確実に一つ一つの単語に目を通して訳します。それでも、受験英語の数倍～十数倍ものスピードで読み取ることができるのです。
間違いなく、「英語を読んでいるんだな」と心から感じることができます。
ただし、一つだけ、たった一つだけ、この感覚が違います。
例文：
Putin also excoriated Europe for Russophobia and criticized the Baltic States over human rights violations.
受験英語の和訳（一例）
プーチンは、ヨーロッパをロシア嫌いとして強く非難し、バルト諸国を人権違反で批判している。
（※まず、全文を読んで、後ろから前、前から後ろに移動しながら、キレイな日本語で訳す）
【パラグラグリーディング】
During his speech,彼のスピーチの間/ Putin also excoriated Europe プーチンはヨーロッパを強く非難した/for Russophobiaロシア嫌いとして/ and criticizedそして批判した/ the Baltic Statesバルト諸国を/ over human rights violations.人権違反に関して
（※英語の順番で読む。一読で訳は終わる。SVOC・・などの順番で頭に入るのでキレイな日本語とは言えませんが、意味は理路整然として確実に捉えることができます。）
それでは、短い例文ですが、実際にやってみましょう。

パラグラグリーディングでは、頭の中で英文を分割（つまりパラグラフを作る）しながら読み進めます。ここでは分かり易いように実際に文章の中にスラッシュ記号[/]を入れます。

ビデオの中では、発音された単語に瞬時にスポットが当たります。基本的に、まず
発音させた単語を瞬時に繰り返します、いわゆる「シャドウイング」です。シャドウイングは同時通訳でトレーニングする英語のインプットとアウトプットを同時に行く高度なテクニックです。まずは半分ほど追いついていければ満点としましょう。
動画で英文を目にするリスニングなので、意味を理解しながら聞き取ることができるようになります。
たとえば、シャドウイングに慣れてくると、"Ukraine was once part"と瞬時にスポットが当たる時に、素早く「ウクライナな一部」とあなたの脳が反応します。
何度も繰り返すと、パラグラフ単位で意味を理解できるようになります。同時に単語や専門語も頭に記憶されます。
